Policy Limits for Pedestrian Struck by a Drunk Driver On May 13, 2018, our client a 25-year-old female, was struck by a drunk driver while crossing the street in Blue Island, IL. Our client sustained left tibia and fibular fractures and a right femur fracture. She had emergency surgery on both legs and was hospitalized for a week after the accident, plus spent time in a rehabilitation center. The drunk driver was unable to produce insurance at the scene before his arrest. The drunk driver’s vehicle was owned by a different individual.
